As Perry Mason (2020-) Season Two is winding down (only two more episodes left! ::sob::), the plot is heating up, and the characters are under immense pressure to figure out how to save the lives of the two accused boys. All manner of things start to go wrong for Perry and crew in this episode, and as a result, there’s not a lot of showstopper costume content. However, what is on screen is still worth discussing!

I’m really stunned by the marquee that crowd waiting to get into the club is standing under! The lighting system and the letters on the marquee are perfect, based on photos of old movie theater marquees from the period.
I have to wonder if that’s an actual location that perfectly preserves an old marquee, or if it was added to a building with CGI. Great recap, and thanks for braving the dim lighting to describe costume details!
Good question! I had the impression that they filmed a lot of scenes at various LA locations and there are plenty of fabulous Art Deco buildings still around down there.
