Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki first gained widespread attention for her role as Jordan Baker in Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby (2013). Since then she’s been featured in a number of historical flicks, receiving praise for her role as Princess Diana in the final two seasons of The Crown (2022-23). Her next role is in the upcoming film Wicker (2026), alongside Oliva Colman, Richard E. Grant, Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd, and Peter Dinklage. Hopefully, we will get a release date soon! At any rate, let’s take a little tour of Elizabeth Debicki’s past frock flicks!

I remain deeply dubious about all claims that Elizabeth Debicki is a born Australian and not the actual Queen of Elfland slumming it a bit for her own amusement.
On a more serious note, I cannot actually believe some mad genius decided to put her in a film with Mr Alexander Skarsgard: the soundtrack will have presented infinite problems for the composer because selections from the works of Richard Wagner kept breaking out whenever the two of them were on the same screen.
(Please note, this is a German mythology joke, not an Ubermenschen joke).
LOL!
Rather liked her as Woolf and as Diana. (I couldn’t understand why Arterton saw herself as VSW, but performers have these ideas.)
I’ve only seen her in The Crown and Gatsby. She was brilliant as Diana. I especially liked the indoor roller skaking scenes. She captured the contradiction of her youthful exuberance vs her sadness, like a trapped beautiful bird.
The roller skating scenes were actually Emma Corrin, who played the younger Diana! They only switched to Elizabeth Debicki in the last season. I preferred Corrin’s performance, but she also got better material.
Not a day goes by that I do not think about her particolored mod black and white ensemble from U.N.C.L.E. It’s just about the most fabulous thing EVER.
