Are remakes always the worst? Judge for yourself with this 2017 adaption of a novel best-known from the 1952 movie.
The only thing I’ve knowingly seen Sam Clafin in is the most recent British adaptation of The Count of Monte Cristo. He’s a little bit of a chameleon. I suppose I could conflate the young Edmond with young Philip being all wide eyed and innocent to the machinations of others. I’ll have to see this and decide whether or not it conforms to the book.
