Immortal Beloved (1994) short review

1994 Immortal Beloved

Good but not great story of Beethoven and his “immortal beloved(s).”  Gary Oldman definitely gives a great performance as the composer, but the movie just didn’t pull me in as it should.  Interesting costuming — more upper class Regency than we usually see in Austen-type movies.
