Want to get behind the scenes of Bram Stoker’s Dracula? Check out these books…
- Bram Stoker’s Dracula: The Film and the Legend by Francis F. Coppola and James V. Hart: The annotated movie script with tons of notes and images about the costumes, sets, acting, and inspirations behind the movie.
- Coppola and Eiko on Bram Stoker’s Dracula by Francis Ford Coppola, Eiko Ishioka, and Susan Dworkin: A big, fat, gorgeous coffee-table book all about the costumes with full-page, color photos of most everything.
- Dracula by Bram Stoker: The original book, totally worth reading if you like horror &/or Victorian novels!
And here’s an amazing interview with Eiko Ishioka about the costumes, showing lots of on-set scenes and some input from Coppola and the actors.
Thanks for that link. I think they achieved their goal, the costumes make this movie. Now I feel like I need to watch it again!
