It is always a good time to rewatch Stage Beauty! It’s one of my comfort watches. ❤️
My daughter was then in her adolescent Shakespearean/youth theatre period, so we watched this with fascination and enjoyment. (She liked that he could be gorgeous in such a variety of ways.)
Almost Famous is my favorite movie and Billy Crudup is a HUGE reason why! I haven’t seen many of these and will have to correct that, but I remember really loving Stage Beauty.
Any film that casts Mr Rupert Everett as His Late Majesty King Charles the Second is worthy of being treasured (Also, Ms Zoe Tapper makes an eminently fetching ‘Pretty, Witty Nell’).
