Boasting only 16 acting credits to her name, Maria Miles is nonetheless one of the most memorable actors of my generation, if for no other reason that she was in a handful of very popular films and TV series in the mid-to-late-1990s. I tried to look up what she’s been up to since pulling a stint on the long running British detective show Luther in 2013, but there’s virtually nothing out there about her, including a clear headshot of her face! So, we will just have to make do with a very brief look at her frock flick resume and assume that she is quite private and hopefully is out there in the world living her best life.
The Camomile Lawn (1993)
The Cinder Path (1994)
Cadfael (1994-98)
Heartbeat (1994-2010)
Cold Comfort Farm (1995)

It is only on YouTube as far as I know but I love Prince Regent. Peter Egan is great as the prince, Susannah York as Maria Fitzherbert and Nigel Davenport as George iii. If you can wear bear to watch it there it is a clear copy as you can get for the era. I put it on whenever I am deep into a book on the George’s…
According to imdb, she has several other credits besides Luther but none of them are frock flicks.
I believe she has MS, so may have stepped back from acting – https://amp.theguardian.com/stage/2019/oct/22/jack-thorne-tv-industry-needs-to-address-disability-diversity
I always see Elfine, twirling in the forest in her green cape, as a kind of nascent Deadhead or Phish phan. Get that girl to a show, STAT!
