The Frock Flicks team is taking time off this winter, so we’re repeating some favorite posts from the archives. Enjoy these diversions until the new year!
Care for an Impromptu?
Enjoy George Sands, Frederic Chopin, Franz Liszt, and more in this frothy 1830s delight.

“Emma Thompson or”- I’mma stop you right there, because unless the alternative rates at least one whole Rosamund Pike on the English Rose scale, it’s Dame Emma every day and twice on Sunday (PLEASE GOD).
Glad to see some positivity on Frock Flicks for once, with regards to their coverage of “Impromptu” (which is surprising, given the way the film deliberately plays fast and loose with established history). Often Frock Flicks is full of negative commentary on films, which is totally unhelpful to those suffering from depression and grappling with suicidal thoughts. I hope you keep up with the positivity, it’s refreshing.
