Blah blah blah Orlando Bloom is hot and acts in stuff! Do you need me to spell it out more? Let’s look at his historical roles!
Wilde (1997)

Ned Kelly (2003)

Pirates of the Caribbean franchise (2003-)

Troy (2004)

Kingdom of Heaven (2005)

The Three Musketeers (2011)

Tour de Pharmacy (2017)

Carnival Row (2019-23)

Do you have a favorite historical film featuring Orlando Bloom? Tell us in the comments!
A friend of mine ran into him once in a high end shop – said he was a self-important dick-head, however ‘hot’ he may look on screen. Why does Hollywood do this to people?😳
Not historical, but my favorite Orlando Bloom movie is Elizabeth Town. His experience there reminds me so much of the small PA town that I grew up in.
I thought the extended cut of Kingdom of Heaven just dug the plot holes deeper, myself!
Personally I’ve never found him remotely attractive: he’s just vapid, and can’t act his way out of a paper bag. Even the basic skill of talking in any accent other than that of lower-middle-class southeast England seems beyond him.
I saw Troy in theatres as a preteen solely because I thought Orlando Bloom was the swooniest in Lord of the Rings and I’d heard rumours that he had a nearly nude scene in Troy. Suffice to say, my friend who also had a crush on him and I were not disappointed.
That being said I’d like to see him play the villain in more things. Three Musketeers wasn’t the greatest but he made for a wonderfully campy villain.
Agree to disagree over the lovely Diane Kruger, because while I’m not sure she’s the Most Beautiful person in TROY she absolutely belongs in the discussion.
It’s not just the accent either (Although the accent plays a noble role).
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the intro to this post! I 1000% agree!!!! He’s HOT in all these, but I gotta go with his Buckingham as the hottest!!! LOVE this MCM!!!!
